Adult Basic Literacy Education (ABLE)

Get help with basic reading, writing, or math skills and with pre-GED preparation through our Project ABLE Program. Work with a volunteer tutor as a learning partner once or twice a week. Morning, afternoon, and evening times are available. Classes are free. Call (650) 940-6029 for more information. Open enrollment; students and tutors can begin at any time during the school year.

Project ABLE Volunteers

If you can read this, you can help someone who can't. Volunteer to tutor adult basic literacy skills.

Free tutor training and materials are provided for you to help adult students who want to improve their:

  • Basic writing skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Pre-GED skills
